The purpose of How We Got the Bible is to acquaint the student with the process the church fathers used when determining what books to include in the Bible, especially the New Testament.
The student will be able to:
Know how the New Testament was put together
Know how we know the Bible is accurate
What “tests” did the church fathers use when deciding what books were to be included?
Why we should believe the Bible over other religions sacred books
Why some books were not included in it, like the Gospel of Judas or the Gospel of Thomas
