And seeing that the Lord only gives wisdom, let everyone seriously set himself by prayer in secret to seek it of Him – Proverbs 2:3″

Martin Niemoeller (1892-1984), German pastor & critic of Hitler…“In Germany they came first for the Communists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a communist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up.”

In proportion as the genuine effects of Christianity are diminished in any nation, either thru unbelief, or the corruption of its doctrines, or the neglect of its institutions; in the same proportion will the people of that nation recede from the blessings of genuine freedom, and approximate the miseries of complete despotism. All efforts to destroy the foundations of our holy religion, ultimately tend to the subversion also of our political freedom and happiness.
